Symposia must be presented in relation to one of the three major aspects proposed or in relation to one of the fifteen areas of interest. Proposals for symposia must have:
1. A coordinator with whom communication will be maintained.
2. A team composed of a minimum of four authors from at least three different institutions.
3. A minimum of four original works and a maximum of five.
Symposia related to the same challenge will be held the same day simultaneously and in connection with the topics discussed during the plenary session. Each challenge will take place on a different day. Symposia related to each area of interest will be distributed throughout the days of the Congress.
Each symposium session will last a maximum of one hour and a half and includes:
Presentation by the coordinator of the theme of the symposium and the contributions included.
Presentation of each contribution.
Debate.
It is for the coordinator to organize these sections and the times assigned to each contribution, seeking always to stimulate discussion on contributions.
Also, if the coordinators consider it appropriated because of the contents, the presentation may take the form of a workshop.
For the proper course of the Conference, materials must be prepared beforehand. Their functionality must be also tested before the session starts, as well as the time scheduled for each contribution. Under no circumstances shall the presentations exceed the time set.
Presentations will take place in classrooms equipped with a computer, PA system, projector and Internet connection.
The contributors whose requirements may not be covered by the previously mentioned equipment should contact the Congress Secretaria:(comunicaciones@congresoenseciencias.org)
